Last Chance to Catch the Production of Spine-Tingling Alfred Hitchcock Mystery

There's still time for lovers of spine-tingling thrillers to enjoy a recreation of the spooky genius that made Alfred Hitchcock the most popular director of his era. The opportunity is presented by the Lake Wales Little Theatre, which is offering a final weekend of their production of Vintage Hitchcock.

"Spies, murder, love, and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock come to life in the style of a 1940s radio broadcast" in the three remaining shows. The "Master of Suspense" was famous for his spine-tingling production of such masterpieces as Rear Window, North by Northwest, and Vertigo.

Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play is a triple feature, complete with vintage commercials, that recreates a daring train chase, a serial killer's ominous presence, and a devastating explosion through the magic of live sound effects.

Three remaining performances are being offered this weekend at the intimate Lake Wales Little Theatre on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., with a final matinee offered at 2 p.m. Sunday. Reserved seat tickets are available at the theatre's website.

Lake Wales Little Theatre is located at 411 North Third Street in Lake Wales, across from the campus of Bok Academy North. Plenty of free parking is located adjacent to the theatre.
