" A Tribute to Louis and Ella" Happening Saturday at Lake Wales Arts Center

The popular Lake Wales Jazz Connection returns Saturday evening to the Lake Wales Arts Center for a special tribute concert to two of the greatest figures in jazz history, and tickets are still available.

The Lake Wales Jazz Connection bring their powerful and talented ensemble to the Arts Center for a memorable tribute performance featuring the popular music of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

An enchanting tribute to Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald will fill the beautiful Arts Center with the sounds of the urbane and supremely talented Lake Wales Jazz Connection, under the expert direction of drummer Paul Gavin.

"Let the timeless jazz classics and soulful melodies of these two legends captivate you during a night of musical magic," said Arts Center Director Tommy Frank in a statement. The evening promises to be a memorable one.

Tickets are available for Arts Council members for $20, while non-members will be asked to offer $25 for the evening's entertainment, or apply the difference toward their own membership. Student tickets are only $5, and children 13 and under are admitted free. The Lake Wales Arts Center is located at 1099 SR 60 East in Lake Wales.
