JJ Grey and Mofro headlined the two-day music festival, pumping out creative tunes to an appreciative crowd in Lake Wailes Park.

The annual Orange Blossom Revue brought praise from hundreds of attendees from across the nation, many of whom spent the weekend in area hotels or camped in temporary campsites adjacent to festival grounds on the shores of Lake Wailes.

The annual charity fundraiser features popular touring bands, many of which draw their own fans to the two day event. This year's show was the 11th in the series, and the event has grown during that time from its origins as a Rotary barbeque dinner.

The Steep Canyon Rangers brought their unique style of traditional American music to the Orange Blossom Revue.

Headlined by JJ Grey and Mofro, the charity fundraiser also offered performances by The War and Treaty, Robert Earl Keen, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sam Grisman Project, Emily Nenni, Wyatt Ellis, and Van Plating. The bands offered a wide range of musical styles from bluegrass and rock to blues and country, with some jazzy riffs worked in.

The event took place under nearly ideal weather conditions under the shade of the spreading live oaks in Lake Wailes Park. Cool evenings and warmer days pleased attendees, including many who had arrived in Florida from much colder climes.

No festival is complete without liquid refreshments, and the special Orange Blossom Honey Pilsner was a popular and iconic offering at the Orange Blossom Revue.

The event benefits the Blossom Charitable Foundation, which has contributed to several area nonprofits, including the Lake Wales Charter School system, Lake Wales Arts Council, Warner University, and the Lake Wales Pram Fleet.
