Citrus Connection Seeking Public Input on County's Bus Services

Citrus Connection provides bus service across Polk County, including intercity routes and local circulators in Lakeland and Lake Wales, as well as the downtown "Squeeze" shuttles in those cities.

Citrus Connection, in partnership with the Polk TPO, is conducting a public survey to better define the transportation needs of the community. The survey is requesting comments from everyone, including daily commuters, occasional riders, or those who have never used public transportation.

The goal of the survey is to help improve public transportation services to better meet the needs of our communities. Citrus Connection provides the local circulator bus service in Lake Wales along with intercity bus service connecting other Ridge cities to the north including Dundee, and Lake Hamilton, as well as Fort Meade, Bartow, and Winter Haven to the west.

By participating in this survey, you can contribute to the development of a more efficient, accessible and user-friendly transportation system. Your insights will influence future plans and initiatives, ensuring services align with what matters most to you.
