Joseph Eugene Webb, 1945-2024

Joseph Eugene Webb of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born December 25, 1945 in Lake Wales to the late William and Lyde Webb; he was a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. Joseph worked for Bullard Insurance for over 50 years and became the owner in 1987. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and collecting guns. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and loved his family dearly, especially his grandson.

Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Dell Webb; and brothers, Donald Webb, Raymond Webb, and William Webb. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Virginia McCoy; son, William Joseph Webb (Mary); sister, Janet Cannon (Jim); grandchildren, Joseph William Webb and Nicolas Wells; extended family, Kim Norton, Gavin, Madison, Mark and Lana Norton, Travis Norton, Kaeli Warren (James), and Leigh Ann Norton; and business partner of 46 years, Wendy Barrett.
