Francis Donald Hodge, 1937-2024

Francis Donald Hodge of Frostproof, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his residence.

He was born August 18, 1937 in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania to the late Julia Hodge; he has been a resident of the area since 1984. Don loved to fish, work on cars, sing karaoke, and tell jokes. He enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, and having coffee with his friends and family.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce Hodge; daughter, Jennifer Steel; sons, Donnie Leonachan, Michael Welsh, Brian Andrews, and Clinton Hodge; and two grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof, Florida. All are welcome to attend a celebration of life, that will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the American Legion Post 95 Community Building (229 East Wall Street, Frostproof, FL).
