Communication Builds Our Community
Area residents with special talents will have another opportunity to showcase their skills as the Lake Wales Public Library hosts their annual summer talent show, this year with the assistance of the GFWC Lake Wales Junior Woman's Club.
The show is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, but auditions will be held on Saturday, June 22 at the Lake Wales Recreation Center. If you can sing, dance, juggle, or have any other special talent, the stage is waiting! This is your chance to shine and impress the judges.
An application fee of $5 is requested at the time of registration, which can be done here through Eventbrite. All acts and costumes must be pre-approved during the auditions, which will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Photos of the intended costume are acceptable.
Performance must be under 5 minutes. The Talent Show line-up will be finalized by 7/20. For questions, please call the Lake Wales Public Library at 863-678-4004 and ask for Kristina or Belle, or email the Lake Wales Junior Woman's Club at [email protected].
The Lake Wales Junior Woman's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), a worldwide women's volunteer service organization.
The mission of the Lake Wales Public Library is to provide informational, educational, and recreational services to the citizens, organizations, and business of the community.
