Lake Wales Arts Council Offers "Summer Studio Pass" to Unleash Your Creativity

Area residents with a desire to unleash their creative side are invited to participate in a summer program at the Lake Wales Arts Center.

Pottery is among the activities that are offered during the Open Studio program at the Lake Wales Arts Center.

Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting your creative journey, the Summer Studio Pass offers "a supportive environment where you can explore different art media, collaborate with fellow makers, and grow as an artist," according to Arts Council Executive Director Tommy Frank.

You are invited to immerse yourself in the world of art and unleash your creativity by purchasing a Studio Pass today and embarking on a summer filled with inspiration and artistic expression.

Open Studio is accessible five days a week, offering a welcoming space for artists of all levels to unleash their imagination and bring their artistic visions to life. With convenient hours from Monday to Friday, you'll have ample opportunities to dive into your passion for art and craft.

The Lake Wales Arts Center is located in a beautiful historic facility at 1099 SR 60 East in Lake Wales, at the corner of South 11th Street.

Summer Studio Pass Details

🕒 Accessible Hours:

- Monday to Friday

- Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

- Wednesday, Thursday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

💰 Pass Price: $55/month (Arts Council members enjoy a 20% discount)

🎨 Well-Equipped Studio Space:

- Painting/Drawing: Easels, work tables, sink, and more

- Pottery/Ceramics: Pottery wheels, kiln, hand-building space, and more

- Access to 3D printers (limited appointment basis)

🔧 Community Studio Equipment:

- Various tools and equipment for drawing, painting, ceramics, and pottery

- Access to white stoneware clay and firing services
