Kristine Marie Wanamaker, 1948-2024

Kristine Marie Wanamaker (Trainham) was born on July 4, 1948, in Watertown, NY, to her late parents John and Alexandra Trainham. She peacefully passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 75 in Lake Wales, Florida.

Kristine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She married her beloved husband James on October 10, 1970, at Holy Family Church. Together, they shared a love for road trips, camping, and most importantly, their family. Retirement led them to Lake Wales, Florida, where Kristine cherished spending time with friends by the pool.

Kristine's caring nature extended beyond her family as she worked at Mercy Hospital and Watertown High School. She touched the lives of many children whom she nurtured and cared for deeply. They always held a large piece of her heart. Her generous spirit and love for children were evident in everything she did.

She is survived by her loving husband, James; daughters, Jennifer (Watertown) and Amy (Boston); granddaughters, Zoe (Jared) Salisbury and Mya Rain Smith; great grandsons, Dexlan, Ryker, and Killian Salisbury; brothers, Jack (Patricia) and Pat (Sheree); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kristine was preceded in death by her sisters Kathleen and Stacie.
