Lorey Blackwelder of Frostproof passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her residence.
She was born July 18, 1970 in Winter Haven to the late Alvin and Mary Meadows; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Frostproof. She loved being with her family and enjoyed football.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Alan Blackwelder; daughter, Savanna Blackwelder of Frostproof; son, Joshua Alan Blackwelder and wife, Leyann, of Altha; sisters, Amy Edwards of Winter Haven and Marcy Adams and husband, Tony, of Sugar Grove, OH; brothers, Brant Meadows and partner, Tony, of Washington, DC and Eric Meadows and wife, Michele, of Windsor, NC; one grandson, Dexter Alan Blackwelder; and two nephews, Casey Meadows and Lucas Edwards.
Memorial service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Shawn Blackwelder officiating.
