Cleve Lamar Odom, 1958-2024

Cleve Lamar Odom of Lake Wales passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at his residence.

He was born October 16, 1958, in Fitzgerald, GA to the late William Wilson and Mamie Pearl Odom; he has been a long-time resident of Lake Wales. He was a retired firefighter and EMT and the children's pastor at The Bridge Central Church.

Cleve was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Detta Odom; two brothers, Larry Davenport and Billy Davenport and one sister, Wanda Jowas. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Adelia Byrd Odom; one daughter, Kathryn Nicole Odom of Lake Wales; two sons, Michael Ray Patrick Odom of Lake Wales and Robert Cleve Odom of Clearwater; two sisters, Joyce Griner of Eagle Lake and Diane Turner (Billy) of Jasper; and one brother, William Steven Odom (Bobbie) of Huntsville, AL.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024, and the funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Buddy Collins officiating.
