Wilfred Lane "Billy" Lohr of Lake Wales passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.
He was born August 18, 1947 in Phillippi, West Virginia to Wilfred and Stella Lohr; he moved to Lake Wales from Lakeland seven years ago. Billy was a musician and was known on stage as Lane Dangerous. He played the guitar, bass, piano, and drums. Billy played with Joe Walsh and was in the Ohio Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Lohr; daughter, Heather Lohr; and sister, Shelby Lohr. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Blum and husband Kenny of Utica, New York, and Holly Lohr of Atlanta, Georgia; mother, Stella Lohr of Youngstown, Ohio; brothers, Richard Lohr of Lake Wales and Michael Lohr of Youngstown, Ohio; and grandchildren, Traylor Lohr and Garrett Blum.
Services will be held in Ohio in the summertime.
