Heather Danielle Strickland of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Advent Health Lake Wales.
She was born August 11, 1984, at 8:11 in El Paso, Texas; She lived in Indialantic and then Melbourne Beach as a child and teenager. She moved to Lake Wales from Melbourne Beach seven years ago. Heather was a business manager for Frontline Protection Systems, US Integrators LLC, and did sales for high end integration systems.
Heather was an excellent student and worker. She was an ambitious entrepreneur with high goals and dreams. In her time off she enjoyed swimming, golfing (or at least assisting), exploring anywhere she had never been, trying new restaurants, grilling, and cooking. Her favorite munchies were calamari and pan seared tuna.
Heather is survived by her sons, Rylan (Strickland) Prutow of Melbourne Beach, Lane Plumley of Lake Wales; her daughters who were adopted; Shaleane Plumley, and Cambree Rose Strickland, and her father, Stephen Strickland of Deland; mother and stepfather, Kelen and Gary Prutow; brother, Kelsey Tyler Strickland and wife Taryn of West Melbourne and their four children, Levi, Samson, Indy and Killian; and her fiancé, Rodney Plumley of Lake Wales. Heather's grandparents were very close to her, and she would want them recognized. They are Wanda Cowart of Lake Wales, George Fouke of Indialantic, and Janie Fouke of Melbourne Beach, all in Florida.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:45 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Ryckman Park (507 Ocean Avenue, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951). Condolences may be sent to the family at 2015 Oak St Melbourne Beach, FL or at [email protected].
