Raymond Odom, 1927-2023

Raymond Odom, 95, of Frostproof, Florida passed Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born December 30, 1927, in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Harvey Helton and Ruby (Childs) Odom and he has been a lifelong resident of this area. Raymond was the Owner/Operator of Odom Electric. He enjoyed family times, watching westerns on tv, and he was an avid Frostproof Bulldog fan. He served in World War II and was very proud of the time that he served in the Merchant Marines.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ima Jean Odom in 2007; siblings, Lillian DuPree, Roland Odom and Marie Smith.

Survivors include his son, Danny R. Odom, and wife Debbie of Frostproof, daughter, Donna J. Davis of Frostproof; 4 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Silver Hill Cemetery with Rev. Billy Hood officiating.
