Local Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership Selected to Represent Southeast Region
The Certified Agriculture Dealer (CAD) Program, and their partner RFD-TV, have selected Lake Wales Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram among eight Certified Agriculture Dealer locations as hosts of a March 21 broadcast to help bring a local flavor to the Washington D.C. events scheduled to celebrate National Agriculture Day.
"This is AgRally's third year as America's only national springtime agriculture event. From calves dropping everywhere between both coasts, to the season's first seeds hitting the soil in the south, THIS is the beginning of our new year," notes CEO Patrick Driscoll, "and just like Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve celebrates the new year, we are the celebration of Agriculture's New Year!"
"Through dozens of local AgRally host sites, this national event ... complete with new product reveals, product updates and deep dives into emerging technologies ... becomes very local. By placing live cameras at a handful of these local events, they become part of the national celebration," Driscoll added.
The local Florida celebration will be hosted at Lake Wales CDJR, which is a Low Payment King /Mahalak Auto Group dealership. This is the third year that the Lake Wales dealership has been chosen as an AG Rally site for National Agriculture Day at their locations. Join us at Lake Wales CDJR which is a participating Certified Agriculture Dealership to be part of the National AG Rally.
Viewers can watch a Lake Wales "live" remote at 3:21pm on the nationally televised AG Rally farm show broadcast 2pm-5pm on RFD-TV and the Cowboy Channel. Be the first to hear top agriculture Industry experts and see exciting new product launches. Lake Wales CDJR will be serving light refreshment.
"In addition," said Ralph Mahalak, the Low Payment King, "between 12:00 and 3:00 pm we will be broadcasting from a "live" Lake Wales CDJR radio remote on WWOJ 99.1FM and WWTK 730 AM and 95.3 FM. Join your friends, family, farmers, cattlemen, and neighbors and watch the AgRally on television or at the dealership.
William Hyatt, owner of Hyatt Farms and Hyatt Citrus, will be interviewed and Leigh Ann Wynn, President of the Polk County Farm Bureau and Assistant VP of Advancement at Warner University, will be interviewed during the live remote. Katie Lawson, head of the Agriculture program at University of Florida will be the interviewer for the Live segment at Lake Wales.
"This will mark the 50th anniversary of National Ag Day, which is celebrated not only in Washington D.C., but also in classrooms and communities across the country," added Jenny Pickett, Executive Director of the National Agri Marketing Association and organizer of National Agriculture Day activities.
"AgRally will certainly help us bring a larger audience and more local venues to increase that societal awareness," Pickett said. Certified Agriculture Dealers will celebrate across the country on national Ag Day 2023.
