Voter Registration Deadline Fast Approaching

October 11 is the Final Day to Register for November Election

Polk Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards is reminding new residents and those who may have been purged from voting rolls to check their registration status now, as time is running out to be sure you are eligible to vote in the in the November 8th General Election.

Polk County residents who wish to change their residence address or other information must do so by October 11th.

Multiple important issues, include races for US Senator and Florida Governor, local races, judgeships, and an important environmental referendum will be on the two page ballot.

Voter registration forms may be completed online at PolkElections.gov or paper copies are available for pick up at many convenient locations throughout the county including City Halls, Libraries, and Chambers of Commerce. Registered voters are reminded to inform the Elections Office of any voter information changes before Election Day.
