Free Food to be Offered at B Street Center

A number of community volunteers and organizations will host a free food giveaway at the B Street Center, which has been approved to be a Food Distribution site in collaboration with Central Florida Health Care. The announcement by Kassandra Noel, Food Distribution Coordinator, provides a handy location for homebound, needy and elderly persons to access a food bank that can help meet critical nutritional needs.

Narvell Peterson, Executive Director of the B Street Center, and adinistrative assistant Cynthia Robinson will supervise the program.

Roy Leath, president of the Classic Car Club, Leroy Smith of the NAACP, Dorothy Scott Wilson of the Wiltshire Foundation Inc,, and Fred and Emma McGriff are all volunteers for this new event, happening Thursday March 3rd 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.

The B Street Center is a City of Lake Wales Community Center located at 230 B Street in Lake Wales.
