Russell Anthony Robertson of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his residence.
He was born October 22, 1946 in Washington D.C. to the late Russell and Bertha Robertson, Sr .; he moved to Jacksonville from Lake Wales 47 years ago. Russell was a retired Chief Petty Officer (E-8) for the United States Navy and served in Vietnam from 1971 until 1973. After the military, he worked as a truck driver for Hartland Express, traveling all over the country. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and to him there were only two types of music, rock and roll.
Russell is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda G. Robertson; daughter, Renee Robertson of Lake Wales; son, Russell Anthony Robertson, III and wife Maria of Douglas, Arizona; grandchildren, Harold John Mann, IV and wife Taryn, Joshua Trevor Mann and wife Sara, Kaylee Belcher and husband Jordan, and Antonella Linda Robertson; and great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Munger, Kaydance Renee Belcher, Harmony Elena Belcher, Mia Jane Mann, and Scarlott Evelyn Mann.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
