Bruce Curtis Jones, 1968-2021

Bruce Curtis Jones of Lake Wales passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at his residence.

He was born February 16, 1968 in Clearwater to Charlie and Mary Jones; he has been a resident of Lake Wales since 1978, moving here from Bartow. Bruce enjoyed going to McDonalds and Walmart. He volunteered at the Alliance for Independence for over 15 years. He was a fun loving and great guy who was well known and loved by everyone. Bruce participated in the special Olympics for over 10 years, winning numerous awards.

Bruce is survived by his parents, Charlie and Mary Jones of Lake Wales; brother, Scott Jones (Joyce) of Lake Wales; aunt, Beryl Taylor (Mike) of Lake Wales; two nieces; one nephew; two great-nieces; and six great-nephews, all of whom are from Lake Wales.

A private service will be scheduled at a later time in Windemere.
