Donald "Coye" Hunt, Jr., 1956-2021

Donald "Coye" Hunt, Jr. of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

He was born June 28, 1956 in Clearwater to Donald and Gloria Hunt; he has been a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. Coye was a Senior Project Inspector for EXP and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a hard worker, and loved Bok Tower, Nascar, and old TV programs, especially old westerns.

Coye was preceded in death by his father, Donald Coye Hunt, Sr. He is survived by his significant other, Julie Hamilton Griffis of Lake Wales; mother, Gloria Hunt of Lake Wales; brother, Stephen "Carey" Hunt (Lilia Rosa) of Ruskin; step-sons, Jeff Bloodsworth (Grace) and their eight children of Windsor, and Shaun Bloodsworth and his son of Gainesville.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Bok Tower. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation (alzfdn.org).
