Richard Scott "Ricky" Batson, 1964-2021

Richard Scott “Ricky” Batson of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his residence.

He was born December 16, 1964 in Haines city to Sterling and Mary Batson. Ricky was the owner and operator of RSB Services and was a member of impact church. Ricky poured his heart and soul into his work and did everything to perfection. Welding was his passion and he touched many life’s trough his business. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on the water with his family and friends. Ricky was a generous man who would lend a hand to anyone in need and he cherished his friendships very deeply. He was a amazing husband and father and will truly be missed.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Sterling Batson; and sister, Beverly Batson. He is survived by his wife Heather Lynn Batson; daughters, Mary Margaret Batson of Lake Wales, and Molly Whitmire and husband Jay of Babson Park; sons, Stetson Batson of Lake Wales, and Ryan Boggs of Lake Wales; mother, Mary Batson of Lake Wales; brother, Robby Batson of Lake Wales; nieces, Chelsey Velasquez; nephew, Troy Waters; and grandchildren, Brenton Boggs, and Birdie Lyn Whitmire.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Impact Church in Lake Wales.
