Barbara Kay Posey, 1947-2020

Barbara Kay Posey, 72, passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 in Lake Wales.

She was born Dec. 29, 1947 in New Castle, IN, the daughter of the late Daniel Owen Webb and Anna Mae (Gibson) Webb.

Mrs. Posey worked as a registered nurse in the healthcare industry for many years before her retirement.

She is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Michelle Brewer of Valrico and Billy Flatt (Stephanie) of Lake Wales, her siblings: Billy Daniel Webb of Lakeland, Mike Owen Webb (Kathy) of North Vernon, IN and Brenda Gayle Johanson of Orlando. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Henry Tyler Brewer, Kadie Brianna Brewer, Nathaniel Louis Brewer, Autumn Leighann Flatt, Billy Dalton Flatt and Isom Jaxon Flatt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow is handling arrangements.
