James "Jimmy" Tillman, 1954-2020

James Howard "Jimmy" Tillman, 65, of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

He was born December 24, 1954 in Bartow to the late James and Juanita Tillman. Jimmy was a purchasing agent for Petersen Industries, working there for over 40 years. He was a lifelong resident of the area and of the Baptist faith. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, working on things, and loved his job.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, John Oliver Tillman. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Tillman of Lake Wales; son, James "Jay" Tillman of Lake Wales; sisters, Judy Perdue and husband Ronald of Frostproof, Louise Molnar of Winter Haven, and Jean Finley of Sanford; and grandchildren, Devin Hunt, Shalynn Hunt, Jazlene Chavez, and Destani Hunt.

A meet and greet will be held from 1 p.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
