First Baptist Invites Children to Focus on God Through Online Vacation Bible School

First Baptist Church of Lake Wales will be holding its annual Vacation Bible School online July 20-24, encouraging children to focus on God.

Parents of children ages 4 through 5th grade may register online at http://www.fbclw.com/vbs-2020. The church will provide a VBS resource box at a parent meeting at the church Sunday, July19.

"VBS 2020 may look different, but we're still excited to help kids dive deeper into their faith by putting the FOCUS on God and his amazing plan for us," said church Youth and Ministry Assistant Dylan Gunton. "Your kids will have a blast as they discover how to trust in what they CAN'T see because of what they CAN see."

The online sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 20-24. The lessons are designed to teach children to explore four different ways they can focus on God . . . hear, talk, pray and live.

Once they sign up online parents will get a confirmation email and then further details closer to the event date. VBS is a community outreach, not just for children who attend First Baptist.
