Community Invited to Discuss City's Future Development in Online Public Meeting July 8

The City of Lake Wales is holding an interactive public workshop July 8 to discuss the city's current development trends, long-term vision, priorities, opportunities and needs.

The consulting firm S & ME, which has Florida offices in Tampa and Orlando, is working to update the city's Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

Workshop participants using the online ZOOM platform will be asked for input regarding these questions:

- What are the city's opportunities?

- What is Lake Wales' future?

- Where should the city be in 10 to 20 years?

- How can the city get there?

The online workshop, starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, will focus on how the city can grow, but continue to be a great place to live, work and play.
