High School Graduation Ceremonies Greenlighted for June

The Polk County School Board is making arrangements to hold traditional graduation ceremonies in June.

Seniors expressing their opinions in an online survey overwhelmingly chose traditional ceremonies over virtual or drive-through graduations. School district officials said they belive they will be able to provide a traditional graduation experience to students and their families while adhering to CDC guidelines.

The Lake Wales Charter School system has not yet announced plans for graduation.
