Fire it up Frostproof BBQ, Music, Bike Event March 6-7

The City of Frostproof is holding its 3rd Annual Fire it up Frostproof! BBQ the weekend of March 6-7.

Jon Prestage AKA Johnny Debt will be on the stage from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Food and drink vendors will be open during this time on Henderson Field.

Saturday is the big day. Beginning at 9 a.m. vendors row and the bike show opens. The first performer, Black Bird Anthem, is taking the stage from 1-3 p.m. The second performer, Beautiful Bobby Blackmon & the B3 Blues Band will perform from 3-5 p.m. and the headliner, Thomas Wynn & the Believers will be on stage from 6-9 p.m.

During the day, there will be BBQ food vendors, and non-BBQ food vendors. There will be vendors on the inside of the fence, as well as outside the fence located in Vendors Row. All sorts of goodies will be available from Coach Garett's Nut Hut to Jimmy's Famous Seafood that was featured on the hit show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, plus other items such as handcrafted glass and jewelry, local honey, knives and much more.

The popular, and fun Kids Zone will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. For $1 children can enjoy the bounce houses, games, etc.
