Ronald Clifford "Ronnie" Huggins, 65, of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020 at Winter Haven Hospital.
He was born November 15, 1954 in Batavia, NY. He grew up in Polk County then later moved to West Palm Beach for his career in construction and returned in 2009 when he retired. He was the project superintendent for Clark Construction. He was a member of Waverly Baptist Church and Lake Wales American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, was a big 49ers fan, loved to cook for his family and friends and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Marine veteran who served during Viet Nam.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Tony Huggins and Mark Huggins.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Lynda Huggins, daughter Veronica Meredith of Geneva, AL, sons McElroy "Mac" Huggins/ Aimee Huggins of Port St. Lucie, FL, Malcolm Bean and wife Amber of Gainesboro, TN, Ronald Clifford Bean of Savannah, GA, sister Roseanna Riley and husband Chuck of Winter Garden, FL, brothers Paul Huggins and wife Barbara of Lake Wales, Lewis Huggins and wife Crystal of West Palm Beach, Pat Huggins and wife Elesa of West Palm Beach, Jamie Huggins and wife Gwen of Ft. Pierce, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.|
Family will have a private service at a later date. Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is in charge of arrangements.
