Communication Builds Our Community
The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce and the Central Florida Development Council recently hosted the 5th annual international trade symposium Polk Goes Global.
Javier Marin, CFDC director of business development and global trade, moderated discussions on tariffs and their impact on global trade and local businesses.
"As we seek to attract high tech and aviation opportunities to Polk County, we remain committed to helping existing business growth, specifically manufacturers and professional service providers, who can be the largest benefactors of opening export markets," Marin said "The American quality and ingenuity is largely sought after around the world, and these firms can take advantage of local resources offering export consulting, low-cost, accessible, financing and export grant opportunities."
