Lake Wales LIVE Free Music Event Oct. 18

The City of Lake Wales Recreation Department will host the first Lake Wales Live event of the season Friday, Oct. 18.

The free event features live music in the park in front of the Lake Wales Public Library. Musicians featured this month include the Kolt 45 Band at 6 p.m. and then the Johnathan Kaufman and Chase Dixon Blues Duo starting at 8 p.m. The event is weather permitting and times are subject to change.

Food trucks will be on hand. Members of the Rotary on the Ridge service club will be pouring beer and wine for donations, which benefit the club’s Josh the Baby Otter water safety initiative.

Lake Wales Live events are planned for the third Friday of each month, October through May.
