Iris Kirch, 1926-2019

Iris N. Kirch, 93, of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at Savannah Court.

She was born August 18, 1926 in DuBois Town, PA to the late George F. and Lillian M. (Carson) Kirch and she has been a resident of this area since 1950 moving here from Williamsport, PA. She was a retired bank teller for Lake Wales Bank & Trust. Iris was a homebody and enjoyed watching TV and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales.

Iris was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Cooksey and Trudy Duncan

She is survived by her sister, Audrey Garcia of Ruffin, NC; niece, Brenda Garcia; nephews, Alan Duncan, Steven Garcia, Greg Garcia and Gary Garcia.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Reynolds officiating. Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is in charge of local arrangements.
