Herlinda Mata, 1924-2019

Herlinda Mata, 95, of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019.

She was born March 26, 1924 in El Zapotillo Villa Hidalgo, SLP, Mexico. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anastacio Rodriguez, daughters Leonor Rodriguez, Petra Rodriguez and Cleotilde Rodriguez.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Ramirez of Lake Wales, sons Isidro Rodriguez and Roberto Rodriguez and Amando Rodriguez of Frostproof; Adolfo Rodriguez and Obdulio Rodriguez of TX; J. Satos Rodriguez of Mexico, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at Iglesia Catolica Nuestra Senora De La Gracia, 595 East Main Street, Avon Park, with Padre Jose officiating.
