Raymond Dease, 1945-2019

Raymond L. Dease, 74, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born May 24, 1945 in Lake Wales to the late Quincy A. and Alma (Respress) Dease. He was a lifelong resident of the area and of the Baptist faith. Raymond was an automobile enthusiast

He is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years Martha Caraway Dease, daughter Ray Lynn Dease of Lake Wales, son Dewayne Williamson and wife Paula of Tucson, AZ, sisters Dorothy Hicks of Ft. McCoy, Fl, Tammy Dease of Babson Park, FL, brothers Jimmy Dease and wife Martha of Ft. McCoy, FL, Martin Dease of Babson Park, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Grace Baptist Church 3530 N. Scenic Hwy in Lake Wales. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or National Kidney Foundation at 4304 S. Dale Mabry Tampa, Fl. 33611.
