Small Business Leadership Conference June 26-28 in Orlando

Early Bird Registration Closes May 16

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the state's principal provider of small business assistance, will host the 2019 Small Business Leadership Conference.

Held June 26-28, 2019 at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, the Small Business Leadership Conference is the premier professional development and networking opportunity for small business owners, managers, executives, economic and community development leaders, and nonprofits in Florida and beyond.

The conference will provide an opportunity for attendees to share innovative ideas, best practices, and other vital information to bolster their professional development and ignite strategic growth.

This is the 9th year for the conference, which draws an average of 280 attendees, who can choose from 25 sessions on a variety of topics including cybersecurity, social media, business automation, finance, emergency planning, igniting sales, going global, branding, HR mistakes, strategic planning, growth strategies and more.

Master of ceremonies is Ramon Ray, editor and founder of Smart Hustle magazine.

Pamela Starr of Google will give the opening keynote presentation on "Using data to drive growth" from 3:30-5 p.m. June 26, followed by an opening reception. The June 27 general session from 8-9 a.m. will include a panel discussion on the state of Florida small business. The June 27 keynote luncheon will feature Mona Amodeo, founder and CEO of the idgroup, who will talk about "Small Business. Big Impact." The closing keynote and luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. June 28 will feature Ryo Zsun, culture maestro at Zappos.com, who will talk about his company's culture of service.

Register by May 16 for the early bird rate of $250, a $45 discount off regular registration. Registration fees include workshops, keynote sessions, admission to the exhibit hall, and conference meals and receptions.
