Lake Wales Chorale Spring Concert April 7

The Lake Wales Chorale will hold its spring concert starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 7 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 644 S. 9th St., Lake Wales. It is the final concert for Director Vince Treadway.

This Spring concert will feature many classical favorites as well as world-premier compositions from Treadway. The performance includes five classic English anthems that epitomize the finest of the English choral tradition. It also includes seven settings of Psalm 119 by Vince Treadway from his larger work that is progress. They are in various styles. The program will end with Maurice Duruflé's masterpiece, Requiem; the classic text set in the French romantic style. The program will be accompanied on piano and organ
