Mary Virginia Aho-Orth, 1928-2019

Mary Virginia Aho-Orth, 90, of Lake Wales, passed away Tuesday, March 26 at her residence.

She was born August 4, 1928 in Argo, IL to the late Joseph Frank and Virginia (Layacono) Camaliere. She has been a resident of this area for 29 years moving here from Friendship, Wisconsin.

She was a retired insurance secretary and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed camping, she collected angel figurines, volunteered for the Lake Wales Medical Center for over 20 years, was a volunteer at the Lake Wales Care Center and she was a member of Keenagers.

She was preceded in death by her 7 brothers

Survivors include her husband, Leroy John Orth; daughters, Pamela L. Salley of Lombard, IL, Carol A. Miltner (Jim) of VA, Marilyn

Cali (David) of Hoffman Est., IL, Judith Marolda of Wheeling, IL; sons, William L. Hoss (Janet) of Morris, Alabama, Robert Aho of Wisconsin, James Orth (Deborah) of North Riverside, IL; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. David Vargas officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.

Johnson-Nelson-Gill Funeral Home in Lake Wales is in charge of arrangements.
