Sun 'n Fun 45th Birthday Bash April 4

The Sun 'n Fun 45th Birthday Bash is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4.

The celebration is the premier fundraising event during the Sun 'n Fun International Fly-In & Expo; all proceeds generated are returned to Aerospace Center for Excellence STEAM education programs, including over $430,000 annually I scholarships for students pursuing aerospace and aviation careers.

Birthday party festivities include a cocktail reception, delectable cuisine, live entertainment by Miami Crooner Jeff Grainger and the Hoboken 11, Live Auction, Silent Auction (ending at 8:45 p.m.), hand to the sky, a photo opportunity and caricature artist, all in a fun Birthday Bash atmosphere.

Live auction lots include a six-night, seven-day trip to the Amalfi Coast of Italy, including airfair, hotel and private coast excursion; a P-40 WWII fighter dual cockpit instructional flight; a 4-day, 3-night trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Trails; and an in-home dining experience with Chef Marcos from the Nineteen Sixty-One restaurant in Lakeland. A special online auction for use of a golf cart for Fly-In Week closes at midnight April 1.
