Benefit for Pancreatic Cancer Research
The Mahalak Auto Group, known as the Low Payment Kings, will be sponsoring a best ball scramble Golf Outing Tuesday, March 19 to benefit Pancreatic Cancer.
The 18 Aces to Conquer Cancer 7th Annual Golf Outing will be held for the first time at the Country Club of Winter Haven, 4200 Country Club Road S. All 18 holes are set up as par 3s, so there will be18 chances for a hole in one to win the lease of a new Jeep.
The organizers are looking for sponsors and vendors and can use monetary, gift bag or silent auction donations.
Cost for a foursome is $1,400, which includes the round of golf with cart, dinner door prizes and the evening program. The dinner will feature both a silent and live auction.
Cost for a twosome is $700, which also includes the round of golf with card, dinner door prizes and evening program. Twosomes may be paired to make foursomes at the committee discretion.
Dinner only tickets are $111 each, two for $188 and four for $335. Proceeds support the Mahalak Auto Group's Pancreatic Research Fund.

The Mahalak Auto Group's Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund aims to spread awareness of pancreatic cancer, while donating proceeds to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Pancreatic cancer spreads rapidly and is seldom detected in its early stages, which is a major reason why it's a leading cause of cancer death. Signs and symptoms may not appear until pancreatic cancer is quite advanced and surgical removal isn't possible.
