April Love Belligan, 1958-2019

April Love Belligan, 61, of Venice, Florida, died March 13 in her sleep at the Venice Regional Bayfront Health Hospital.

She was born on March 1, 1958 in Lake Wales to the late Norma (Wooten) and Remus Perry Love Jr. She was the youngest daughter of six children. She is survived by her husband Richard Belligan of Nokomis, FL, who she married Oct. 14, 2005.

April grew up in Polk County. She had various talents and interests. She enjoyed working in several management positions such as office manager of Swango Animal Hospital. After many years of vacationing there, she moved to live in Casey Key, FL at her beloved beach. While in this area, she got involved with John Robert Powers modeling studio and began working as an acting coach. She enjoyed working in the modeling and casting industry for several years, eventually opening her own studio.

April is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Doug Jordan of Valdosta, GA; her son Paul Kaelin (PK); her daughter Mariah Ulrich; two grandchildren Marley Jacob and Luna Rose; two sisters Cindy Love and Cheryl Love; three brothers Larry Love, Perry Love, and Gregory Love; and numerous nieces and nephews. April was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband Brad Ulrich.

There will be a celebration of this beautiful life at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Babson Park Women’s Club, 1300 N. Scenic Highway, Babson Park.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church at 338 East Central Avenue Lake Wales, FL. 33853 in memory of her parents RP and Norma Love or the American Heart Association at P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284.
