Claude M. Carnley, 1951-2019

Claude M. Carnley of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, Feb. 23 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 20, 1951 in Bartow, FL to the late Starlin and Doretha (Mimms) Carnley. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his sister Lola Skinner, brothers Cecil Carnley, Wylie Carnley and Starlin Dewey Carnley, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Mary (Midge) Cardell Carnley, daughters Margo Owens and husband Mike of Avon Park, Mary Bracewell Kirkland of Lake Wales, son Judson Bracewell and wife Lynne of Lake Wales, sister Sherry Castaneda of Lake Wales, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Gandy Cemetery in Bartow. Marion Nelson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
