    Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland is experiencing a significant increase in the number of students applying to become Phoenixes. At only two-thirds of the way through the 2020 recruitment cycle, the University has received 31% more freshman applications compared to this time last year.     Lake Wales Charter Schools has a new tracking system for all of its bus riders. Called Reaxium, students are being issued identification badges that will check each on and off the bus during the school day.
